This is my first blog so here it goes.....
Justification it is more than just if id never sinned, it is the place in which you stand before God. God is the righteous judge and you are standing before him, he asks you your plea. All you can say is "guilty", but before you do Christ steps in and says "the price has bee paid". God asks "how?" Christ answers " because i paid it for them, i lived a sinless life i followed all the laws to the t, i am an innocent and i died for them" God says "very well enter into heaven thou good and faithful servant (for now he sees christ's actions and not yours) to be continued

I will watch with eager anticipation for the things you can share with us as you continue your writing.
ReplyDeleteLove this! :)
ReplyDeleteGood concise explaination!
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to more.
ReplyDeleteKudos to you for your willingness to share this biblical truth. May God Bless you as you seek after Him with unquenchable fervor.
ReplyDeleteJustification comes out of the Hebrew court. Meaning that all cases always had an accuser and a defendant and there was not a prosecutor. If the judge finds in the favor of the defendant (as God does in our case because of Jesus on the cross) this is what we would call today, an acquittal. Therefore, the person that has been justified is called JUST by the judge, who is God. This is in no way a judgment made on a person’s moral character (that would never stand in God’s court) but it is a judgment made on Christ on our behalf.
ReplyDeleteRomans 5:8- 10 “8 but God (FATHER) shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ (JESUS) died for us. 9 Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood (BY JESUS), much more shall we be saved by him (BY JESUS) from the wrath of God (GOD the FATHER). 10 For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God (FATHER) by the death of his Son (JESUS), much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life (JESUS). 11 More than that, we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.”
I think that you have a strong BIBLICAL illustration for justification.
thank you chris, it is just so amazing to me that God would do that for me and all i have done is cursed him
